Type-4 adjustable aluminum front suspension arms

The Type-4 adjustable aluminum front suspension arms feature a new geometry specially designed to allow for large steering angles while maintaining a low scrub radius.

The arm benefits from a particularly compact design and uses a reduced-diameter aluminum adjustment shaft, allowing for a weight saving of around 5 g per side.

The arm’s ball end is positioned with a 5° rearward inclination in order to increase clearance with the tire and wheel when the steering reaches its maximum angle.

The arm’s longitudinal dimension is also reduced by 7 mm compared with the standard model, which increases the available adjustment range, particularly for the wheelbase.

The stepped adjustment system allows precise adjustment of the arm length over 11 positions with a 1 mm increment. The Gull Arm -type geometry is designed to absorb movement coming from the ground and increase front-end grip, while limiting variations in chassis height when adjusting the arm length.
