Toyota AE86 Body 239mm
The AE86, also known as "Hachiroku", is the fourth generation of Corolla Levin / Sprinter Trueno, launched in 1983 by Toyota. More than 40 years after its release, this car remains immensely popular. In the world of radio-controlled cars, the AE86 bodies are also highly sought after, and several versions have been produced by different manufacturers.
However, the size of standard radio-controlled car chassis, with a width of 195 mm and a wheelbase of 256 mm, imposes limitations. As a result, the bodies must be enlarged to fit these dimensions, which compromises realism for compact vehicles like the AE86. In reality, the AE86 has a width of 163 cm and a wheelbase of 240 cm, making it difficult to faithfully reproduce at a 1/10 scale.
This 1/10 model of the AE86 Trueno has been optimized for an M-type chassis from Tamiya, with a wheelbase of 239 mm and a width of 167 mm, allowing for an adequate steering angle of the tires. The result is a reproduction that captures the small size and authentic charm of the AE86, offering enthusiasts a realistic and satisfying experience.
Relive the spirit of the mountain roads of the 80s with this 1/10 model of the AE86 Trueno.
