The Scale Dynamics V16D wheel series has a rim diameter of 44 mm which reproduces a 16-inch rim conversion look with incorporated stretched tire sidewalls. The given offset is based on Tamiya 0 mm. This seems like a lot, but try to understand how this is calculated: the total width of the wheel is about 29.5 mm (this extra 3.5 mm is for the stretched sidewall and outer rim) Therefore, the tire mounting position is 3.5 mm further back. This requires you to judge the offset 3.5 mm lower when you want to compare with other brands. Thus, when Scale Dynamic gives you a 10 mm offset, you can compare it to 6.5 mm of other brands.
