The Createx 4040 Bleed Checker is a product specially designed to be used as a undercoat or an intercoat to help prevent the "bleeding" of the underlying colors. This is particularly useful when using fluorescent colors or certain colors based on dyes that tend to bleed through the upper paint layers.

The 4040 Bleed Checker is based on water, not toxic and compatible with all Createx paintings. It can be applied with a brush, a roll or an airbrush, which makes it very versatile.

For optimal use, it is generally recommended to dilute the 4040 Bleed Checker with the 4012 High Performance Reducer of Createx, although it depend on the favorite application method and viscosity.

Once applied and dried, it forms a transparent layer which helps to prevent the underlying colors from bleeding through, while retaining the liveliness of the colors of the superior paint layer.

It is important to note that the 4040 Bleed Checker is not a varnish and should not be used as such. It is a specific product designed to improve the performance of paintings by avoiding color bleeding.
