Optimized operating software
When loading or discharging, a "car" function defined the supply current automatically. Particularly for lithium batteries, this mode prevents any overload which can cause an explosion. All programs are checked to counter any errors in order to maintain optimal security. They can be programmed as an option.
Individual balancing of cells in discharge
He can also monitor the balancing of lithium battery cells during the discharge procedure. If the tension of one of them is abnormal, the discharge will be interrupted followed by an error message.
Optimized for several types of lithium battery
It supports 3 types of batteries: Li-on, li-po and li-fe. Each has different characteristics due to their chemical design. You have to select one of them before you start the charge process.
Lithium battery, "fast load" and "storage" modes
This charger offers a quick charge function for lithium batteries and a "storage" function to improve the life of batteries and prevent them from inflating when they are not used for a long time.
Maximum security
-Sensitivity of the Delta-Peak: the automatic load stop lies in the principle of detection of the tension by the Delta-Peak (NICD/NIMH). When the battery voltage exceeds the maximum threshold, the load process ends automatically.
- Limitation of the current-car current: when you charge NIMH or NICD in "Auto" mode, you can define the ceiling of the charging current to avoid too much flow. This is very useful when using a slow load and a low -capacity Nimh battery in this mode.
- Capacity limit: load capacity is always calculated by multiple currents and durations. If the load capacity exceeds the limit, the process will be automatically stopped once the maximum value is defined.
- Temperature limit: the temperature of a battery during its load can increase because of an internal chemical reaction. If you program a maximum temperature, the load will be interrupted once the limit is past.
(Important: this function is available by connecting an optional temperature probe, not enclosed with the charger).
- Limits of charging time: You can also limit maximum load time to prevent a possible defect.
- Charger supply: to protect the battery from the car using the mains supply (220V), the tension is constantly monitored. If it falls below the limit, the process will be finished automatically.
Database / Loading
Your charger is equipped with a memory allowing it to store up to 5 different programs. You can establish a database containing the settings for loading or discharge of different batteries.
Load and discharge cycles
Run 1 to 5 charging cycles> Discuss> Continuous load to refresh and balance a battery.
