Barbara conversion kit for GRK GS2 EVO & GRK5

The Barbara Conversion Kit is a conversion kit intended for the chassis SHIBATA GRK5 and GRK GS2 EVO.

Its design allows the kit to be adapted to both chassis by changing the mounting position of the motor mount as well as the connection point of the upper deck.

The battery positioning has been particularly well thought out. It can be placed up to 11.5 mm higher than the main chassis, in order to bring its height closer to that of the motor’s center of gravity. Its position can also be adjusted in height and laterally thanks to the addition of spacers in the battery mount.

The kit also changes the vibration management of the motor / transmission assembly. The motor mount and the transmission case are fixed to an independent rear plate, separated from the suspension mount. This architecture is designed to limit the transmission of vibrations to the suspension arms and tires.

The front section uses 3 mm high-rigidity carbon, with a largely cut-out overhang to reduce weight. Rear aluminum side braces increase the chassis roll rigidity.
