Drift Springs SHIBATA (Semi-close wound coil - Left/right winding)

Here is a pair of springs with left and right winding developed as Standard rear spring for the GRK5-R. This “mid-closed” model (half-tightded turns) is designed to offer progressiveness and stability In the load transfer phase, especially at the rear of the chassis.

THE 1.3 mm wire diameter as well as the No specific spire of 9.5 mm were selected for Adapt to the center of gravity and the behavior of the GRK5-R chassis, providing a Best control of the rear grip and a progressive response in drift.

The opposite winding allows a symmetrical reaction rear suspensions during dynamic loads, improving the stability in prolonged drift, even on irregular surface or low adhesion.
