The BRL-SH18 Gearbox Side Brace from BARELL is an aluminum reinforcement designed to link the gearbox and the battery mount of the RDX, in order to improve the structural rigidity of the chassis without disturbing its natural flex.

During acceleration phases and load transfer, the motor and transmission generate lateral movements that can cause unwanted chassis deformation. This brace helps transfer these forces directly to the main deck more efficiently, while limiting unwanted twisting.

The result is more stable and more consistent handling, particularly in fast loaded cornering and high-load transitions.
