The US Type version is designed to maximize steering angle in tight corners, particularly effective for wall proximity drift, as often seen on international tracks.

The tie rod mounting point is optimized to reduce EPA variation even at high steering angle, allowing for more consistent steering response and better corner exit speed, without excessive Ackermann distortion.
