The wheel series (rims) Scale Dynamics V16D has a rim diameter of 44 mm which reproduces a look of 16-inch rim conversion with incorporated stretched tire sidewalls. The given offset is based on Tamiya 0 mm. This seems a lot, but try to understand how this is calculated: the total width of the wheel is about 29.5 mm (this extra 3.5 mm is for the stretched sidewall and the outer rim) The tire mounting position is therefore 3.5 mm further back. This forces you to judge the offset 3.5 mm lower when you want to compare with other brands. Thus, when Scale Dynamic gives you a 10 mm offset, you can compare it to 6.5 mm from other brands.
